I am the oldest of the 4 girls in our family. I was only 3 yrs and 7 months old when Lynn, the baby, was born. And Tracy and Leslie were in between. That is four girls under the age of 4 - yikes! To this day I don't know how my Mom did it. Or my Dad for that matter when he had 4 teenage daughters!

Although we had our own friends growing up, now we spend a lot of time together with our families and have lots of fun. Tracy, Lynn and I live 5 minutes from each other so getting together for family dinners is a regular occurrence. Leslie is further away in Kingston and we don't see her as often but we enjoy when she makes the effort to join us in Oakville.

For Mother's Day this year, we gave our mom a dinner out and organized it to take place in July when Leslie was finished teaching. Leslie arrived on the train and we spent the afternoon shopping, laughing and taking advantage of some great summer sales.

Too late to make our dinner reservations in Toronto, we opted for cocktails and dinner in Oakville instead.

We started at Jam for martinis...

Then we went to a great new Italian restaurant called '7'.

Mom  - always in for a good time!

Leslie - your eyes are open for this pic!

Mom and her 4 daughters - I know Dad would be proud

After dinner it was time for a night cap so we went back to my place for Gregg's famous Brandy Alexanders. Cheers!

Michelle joins in the fun

A great day. A fun night. That's what sisters are for. Love you girls!
