" There's no place like home". I couldn't agree more. Especially after a 3 week business trip to India, Hong Kong and China.
As the plane approaches the city, I marvel at the clear blue sky that I take for granted. A familiar face greets me at the airport and takes me home. I even enjoy the car ride - a nice change from the chaotic traffic in Delhi and China.
Staying in nice hotels is a treat - crisp sheets, room service, maid service - but it grows tiresome after a while. I miss my chair beside the fire where I drink my weekend coffee. I miss my comfortable bed, my soaker tub and my heated bathroom floor. And most of all, I miss my friends and family.
I think they missed me too.
