A Winter Walk

I love Oakville and the fact that we are only a short distance to the lake. I like to go for walks to the lake year round and today was a perfect day for a winter walk in the snow.

Our first snowfall of the season happened 2 days ago and it started snowing again today. The snow was falling softly as we ventured out.

Snow covered snowball hydrangeas

Lakeside birch tree

A bench decorated for the season... memory

Dried flower heads are nature's ornaments

Love the texture

...and the colour

I hope you are enjoying this winter wonderland too.
