Blogging, Again!

After a busy summer and a few technical difficulties with my blog ( back up and running), I am glad to get back to blogging.

Here's a look at what I have been up to ( as well as working ) for the last 10 weeks.

I spent a fun girls' weekend at my sister's cottage - lots of relaxation and beautiful lake views.

And a delicious cottage breakfast...

We spent a long weekend in Halifax.

and visited Peggy's Cove.

We brought back 18 lobsters and hosted a lobster feast for our family - delish!

I played golf.

... in a Cowboy themed tournament with my sisters and mom.

and in St.Catharines where my Dad used to golf.

I think God was showing me the way at times, although he didn't help my score!

and I tried some photo enhancing techniques on the course.

I watched the pros at Glen Abbey during the Canadian Open.

Definitely a Canadian golf tournament eh?
I survived the great Toronto flood despite being stranded at the office until 10pm.

a not so lucky driver who thought he could take a short cut through the parking lot

We visited with Carla and Grace - the 2 girls that were nannies to my children. We hadn't seen Carla for over 15 years and Grace for over 5. It was so great to see them and catch up!

I enjoyed my garden and created some beautiful floral arrangements.

white astilbe, pink carpet roses and lambs ear

lovely hydrangeas for my bathroom
I also entertained friends and family and cooked up some favorite recipes including phyllo pizza. Check out a previous post here for the recipe.

And I enjoyed our fabulous backyard and pool. It was a great summer. Hope yours was too.

Good bye summer. Hello September.
