Christmas Bark

One of the most asked for recipes I make ( next to my Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies  ) is my Christmas Bark. I only make it at Christmas time so it is now a holiday tradition. Family eagerly await the first batch and friends hope I will continue to package up goodie bags with this delicious treat.

So if you are ready to start your holiday baking, here's the recipe I posted last year for my  Christmas Bark. I did make one adjustment based on a suggestion from my sister, Leslie. She uses a candy thermometer and boils the butter and brown sugar until it reaches hard crack stage - 310 degrees. Make sure to do this over medium heat while stirring constantly. This makes creates a harder brittle-like bark. Either way, it is delish!

Happy baking!

I was thinking about that just the other day! I agree with you about the memories. We need to get together soon.
